Copyright free base maps

The following files contain maps of many African, Asian and Latin American countries. They are basic vector maps showing the first level of political division in each country and most are derived from maps distributed with "EpiMap", a simple DOS based mapping system distributed by the World Health Organization and the Centre for Disease Control. Not all of the maps are to scale and the quality varies but they can be used as base maps for showing national level data. The files are self-extracting compressed EXE files - run the file and it will unpack.
