The tree crown

By default the crown of the tree is shown as a circle. The colour of the circle is determined by the category of the tree. These colours are specified in BS5837:

R    Dark red

A    Green

B    Blue

C    Gray

The spread of each tree's crown to the north, east, south, and west are entered under the properties of the tree. In the first example above, the spread in each direction is set to 3 metres. In the second example, the spread to the east is set to 5 metres resulting in an egg-like shape.

The tick boxes under "Trees" contain an option to display the dimensions along the four cardinal points.
